Guidelines for Abstract Submission

Guidelines for Oral and E-Poster Presentation

  1. Please do not send abstracts in either hard copy or on email address.
  2. Acceptance of out-of-format and hard-copy-only abstracts is regretted.
  3. Kindly follow the ethical considerations and plagiarism guidelines to avoid later retraction.
  4. Conflict of interest, funding source, authorship contribution and justification in case of more than 3 authors, ethical permission and other disclosures should be added. Those with disputed authorship will not be entertained. The content will be checked for plagiarism.
  5. Formatting: Font: Times New Roman, Title: 12-point bold, Body Text: 11-point, Line Spacing: Single. Use standard scientific abbreviations. Define abbreviations at first use.
  6. The accuracy of the submitted abstract is the responsibility of the authors. Authors should prepare and proofread their abstracts carefully prior to submission. The Abstract Review Committee will not proofread or correct spelling, typographical, grammatical, or scientific errors, nor can changes be made once the abstract has been submitted.
  7. The contact details including name, e-mail address and phone number of the corresponding author must be provided.
  8. Submission of an abstract does not guarantee acceptance. All abstracts will undergo review by the designated Abstract Review Committee/Scientific Committee.
  9. All PRESENTERS must register to attend.
  10. Those with more than 15% plagiarism will not be processed for publications. No AI tools [except for referencing and grammar] are allowed in manuscript drafting.

Guidelines for Oral Presentation

  1. All presentations will be performed offline.
  2. Oral presentation talks will be allotted 7 minutes each.
  3. Prepare your slide presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  4. Proofread to avoid grammatical and spelling errors.
  5. Word limit of 250 for research/oral papers.
  6. Must include a Conflict-of-Interest slide.
  7. An abstract is a summary of the research paper's substance including its background, aim/objectives, material & methods, results and conclusion.
  8. 3 to 5 keywords (MeSH terms).
  9. Title: Title should be concise, descriptive, and informative. It should be no longer than 15-20 words, and should accurately reflect the content of the abstract.
  10. Font Style/Size:
    • Title: Calibri/Arial font, 30–36-point size, upper case, centred text in bold.
    • Body: Calibri/Arial font, 18–24-point size, line spacing: 1, one column of text.
  11. Presentations must be submitted or uploaded at the designated Preview Area within the timeframe communicated by the conference organizers.
  12. Presenters are advised to arrive at the assigned session venue at least 15 minutes before the start of the session.

Guidelines for E-Poster Presentation

  1. Please submit your E-Poster as a JPG file in portrait orientation.
  2. File Format: JPG file – 1 page is recommended. Portrait orientation, size 32x52 inches.
  3. Font type: Times New Roman, font size: > 11. Hyperlinks, animated images, animations and embedded videos are not permitted.
  4. Images and tables: 3-4 in total, at least 150-300 dpi to ensure that your poster is clear and professional when displayed on screen. Good picture quality is essential. When inserting images, photos, tables, etc., use copy-paste. Do not use embedded documents.
  5. File size: Less than 5 MB.
